Two buses collide on Transitway near Tunney's Pasture
Two buses have apparently collided on the Transitway near Tunney's Pasture. And there are injuries, according to CTV Ottawa's Leigh Chapple:

The city of Ottawa maintains traffic cameras at various locations around the city. However, the one at Holland Avenue and Scott Street, near the site of the collision, appears to be offline.
The Ottawa Citizen's Meghan Hurley, meanwhile, says 15 people are now being reported injured, with at least seven being taken to hospital with minor injuries.
If you've got a photo of the crash, let us know and we'll post it. And if you're currently stuck on the Transitway, let us know that, too.
UPDATE, 5:35 p.m.: Obviously we don't know who was driving either of the buses yet, but in October 2011 the city recognized 75 city bus drivers who'd been behind the wheel for more than 20 years without an accident.
Also, OC Transpo had 1,359 drivers who made it through 2010 without having an accident. Meanwhile, one of our Twitter followers, @hkath, sent us this photo of the scene:

Soon afterwards, she sent us the photo we've embedded at the top of this post. She also tweeted that some passengers were still aboard one of the buses involved in the collision:
One bus ended up tilted against the wall of the Transitway - several riders still inside as of a few minutes ago. #OCTranspo @OpenFileOTT

Your Ottawa Region says the crash wasn't a head-on collision. One bus may have been turning when the accident occurred, according to Const. Carol Lavigne of the Ottawa Police.
While there are varying reports on how many people have been injured, and while some are being taken to hospital, it doesn't appear at this point anyone is seriously hurt. Readers might remember a more serious 2008 accident between an OC Transpo bus and an SUV that killed three Carleton University students, however.
