Hail the whales: a sneak peek at the Canadian Museum of Nature's new Whales Tohorā exhibition
On Friday, March 2, the Canadian Museum of Nature will unveil Whales Tohorā, an exhibition that explores the relationship between the giant aquatic mammals and the indigenous cultures of the south Pacific.
This morning, OpenFile news curator Trevor Pritchard is getting a sneak preview of the exhibit, on loan from the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa in Wellington. So if you're a fan of whales—and let's face it, unless your name's Captain Ahab, you probably are—follow along.
