Behind the scenes of the Bridgehead coffee roastery
Last December, local coffee chain Bridgehead secured the permits they needed from the city to begin building its much-anticipated Little Italy roastery. And construction, it seems, is moving along.
In this video posted to the chain's YouTube account, managing director Tracey Clark—outfitted in a solid white construction helmet—gets a tour of the site from contractor Kevin Lake.
As Clark notes, much of the "heavy lifting" is done at the site. In addition to the coffee shop-slash-roastery, the 130 Anderson St. building will also include a warehouse, a training facility, and a support centre.
It's a bit hard to believe all that concrete and plumbing is eventually going to transform into the jewel of the Bridgehead empire, but there you go. Bridgehead is aiming to open the coffeehouse in the spring.
